Eldrún is a metal band hailing from Iceland. Their sound is as ancestral as the culture of their home country, deeply rooted in the spirit of the North. The members come from different backgrounds, and the result mash-up of influences is truly one of a kind.
Eldrún’s music combines progressive elements, with melodic metal, and even alternative rock influences. In addition to the refreshing complexity of their lyrics, the music is delivered in their native Icelandic tongue, making the experience more genuine and personal.
The songs are brutally heavy and there is a wall of sound that embodies the group’s performances, but at the same time they also have a very open creative mindset, which leads them to experiment with their sound.
